Your baby’s skin is our priority. That’s why we carefully select each ingredient that goes into Huggies® diapers. Here’s a look at all the unique ingredients and their purpose.

INGREDIENTS PURPOSE
Wood Pulp Helps absorb wetness and store it away.
Polypropylene A common material in fibers and films. Used to deliver softness, durability and protection.
Polyethylene A common material used in fibers and films. We use it to deliver softness, breathability, and protection.
Polyrurethane elastics A material with stretch that provides a great fit and helps prevent leakage.
Polyolefin Elastic A material with stretch that provides a great fit and helps prevent leakage.
Adhesives Used to hold things together. In our diapers, adhesives are used to hold the components together or help adhere the products to garments.
Colorants Pigments and colorants are used to provide the colors and designs seen on our products. The amounts we use per product are very small and are evaluated to ensure they are safe and non-sensitizing.
Printing Inks Printing inks are used to provide a decorative design. The colorants and pigments we use are evaluated to ensure they are safe and non-sensitizing.
Sodium Polyacrylate A superabsorbent material that pulls in and absorbs fluid for wetness protection.
Polyester A common fiber found in many fabrics or textiles. We use it in our products to deliver softness and protection.
Color-changing wetness indicator An adhesive with color-changing ink that helps to identify when urination has occurred without disturbing the baby.

Rated 1 out of 5 by GiGi Erica from Do Not Compare to "Special Delivery" - Poor Replacement!!! I purchased "Skin Essentials" when my grandson ran out of his last size 3 of "Special Delivery" diapers! We have used "Special Delivery" since he was born & it's very disappointing that they decided to get rid of a perfectly crafted item (materials/softness/leakproof/excellent protection). Thank God we have larger sizes that were purchased ahead of time to use as he grows - but this is still disappointing. I am NOT satisfied with the quality of "Skin Essentials" These do NOT compare one bit to "Special Delivery". Skin Essentials are thin diapers, the materials are not as soft as "Special Delivery" and appear to be rougher and a bit abrasive to the skin/touch, and they are not leakproof. My grandson is changed regularly/even overnight - Skin Essentials did NOT provide the protection that we experienced with "Special Delivery" We have since then purchased and tried snug & dry, little snugglers & little movers as we prefer the Huggies brand over other diaper brands -Sadly, NONE of these meet the standard of diapering that we desire for our growing baby. PLEASE...PLEASE... PLEASE BRING BACK HUGGIES "SPECIAL DELIVERY"!!! I don't understand how as a company you discontinue the best diaper on your lineup of diapers. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!

Diapers cannot hold for 6 hours overnight without leaking and needing to change the babies whole outfit. Bring back special delivery!

Constantly have to change my child clothes because he is leaking out after only peeing once. Used 3 boxes because we had already bought them and didn’t want to waste. We LOVE and definitely recommend the little snugglers/movers diaper (red package).
